Donegal Yarns, based in the rugged hills of southwest Donegal, carries on a long-standing tradition of Irish textile craftsmanship. With roots in hand-spinning that date back centuries, the mill has played a key role in producing authentic Donegal Tweed — a material known globally for its distinctive character and quality.
 

Today, they remain one of the last manufacturers of this heritage product in Ireland, continuing to craft natural fiber yarns in their Kilcar-based woollen mill, which has a rich history of industrial textile production.
